چکیده

To improve the accuracy of discrete element simulation parameters for mechanized picking and collection pears, study calibrated pears by method combining a physical experiment simulation. Based on intrinsic four kinds (Snow Crisp Huangguan Qiuyue pears), their models were constructed Hertz-Mindlin with bonding model. The between contact material (PVC, EVA foam material) methods free fall collision, inclined sliding rolling, respectively. experiments pear accumulation angle carried out. It was obtained to process image Matrix Laboratory software. In order determine optimal value interval influencing factors angle, steepest ascent Considering coefficient collision recovery, static friction rolling five-level designed each factor orthogonal rotation combination. regression model error measured simulated established, influence three analyzed. results showed that have significant effects angle. Therefore, minimum according constraint condition, obtained. verification out bottomless barrel lifting. relative 1.42%, 1.68%, 2.19% 1.83%, respectively, which indicated reliable. research can provide basis design optimization harvesting machinery pears.

Numerical Simulation of the Rock SHPB Test with a Special Shape Striker Based on the Discrete Element Method

A split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) system with a special shape striker has been suggested as the test method by the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) to determine the dynamic characteristics of rock materials. In order to further verify this testing technique and microscopically reveal the dynamic responses of specimens in SHPB tests, a numerical SHPB test system was establishe...

On the method of Hunt's parameter calibration.

This note comments on the observations of Bernier et al. (2016) regarding errors in Appendix A of Kim and Allen (2013). We acknowledge that the equations in the Appendix are in error, but wish to point out that these equations were not actually used for our analysis. We appreciate their effort in pointing out the errors, and offering corrected equations.
